We only have 2 CMs at the minute so have to play 3-4-2-1. When Shelvey and Diame are back fit and Ki is back from Asia we can revert to 3-5-2.Luque wrote: ↑Thu Jan 31, 2019 7:41 pmWe play 3-4-2-1 though.TJR wrote: ↑Thu Jan 31, 2019 7:39 pmGot decent squad depth for a 3-5-2 formation now.
GK: Dubravka / Woodman
CB: Schar / Lascelles
CB: Fernandez / Clark
CB: Lejeune / Dummett
RWB: Yedlin / Manquillo
CM: Ki / Shelvey
CM: Diame / Hayden
CM: Longstaff / Atsu
LWB: Ritchie / Barreca
N10: Almiron / Perez
CF: Rondon / Joselu
With also the likes of Darlow, Elliott, Kenedy and Muto knocking about as well.
Almiron is better suited to the second striker role than out wide so I'd imagine that would be Rafas long term plan. Almiron has mostly played as a second striker in a 3-5-2 and as a CAM in a 4-2-3-1 (https://amp.theguardian.com/football/20 ... ssion=true)
