Re: Weekend Football 9-10 Feb
The result doesn’t matter that much (we were 16th when Cardiff lead and 16th after Southampton equalised).
Cardiff winning again, we’re still 16th.

Need something Monday to take a bit of the pressure off a bit vs Huddersfield.

Some shocking decisions against Brighton here... should've had a penalty at 2-0, Burnley went up the other end got a pen and scored it. But immediately they won a freekick and got one back for 3-1. 15 mins to score 2 goals though.

Good job we still have lots of “winnable games” left.

Wolves are a very good side. A point there would be very decent and give us a little space.
I'm impressed with Cardiff, thought they'd be adrift by now. Not sure they cankeep it up, or at least I hope that

Brighton and Palace are certainly in the dogfight, they looked clear of it a couple of weeks ago.
Southampton, Us, Cardiff, Burnley, Brighton and Palace are the only ones who could join Fulham and Huddersfield who are both gone already. Everyone else is safe.
I’m not too concerned about today’s results, just one of those weekends where lots of teams around us played each other so some were always going to make gains. 6 points from our next 3 matches isn’t unrealistic at all.

I think the Cardiff result was pretty awful, as was their win last week. There was breathing space before that - there isn’t now.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 7:38 pmBrighton and Palace are certainly in the dogfight, they looked clear of it a couple of weeks ago.

Piece of piss. Beat Wolves 6-0 and go 13th.
Almiron to score a hat trick and assist the other 3. That's why we broke the transfer record.

We stuffed Cardiff 3-0 in our last winnable game.

Fair point, but there have been a few "winnable games" we failed to win and Fulham springs to mind.

What are the other ones? Agreed though, not to even have a shot on target against a team that hadn't even registered a clean sheet up to that point is diabolical, regarding Fulham. I've been impressed with the way we've played last few games though. Hopefully these two players we brought in in January have the same effect as the lot this time last year.UlversToon wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 9:42 pmFair point, but there have been a few "winnable games" we failed to win and Fulham springs to mind.

Brighton at home was a "winnable" game and another we failed to win and indeed failed to take any points from as was the Wolves game at SJP.Emiliano Sala's Invincible Hair wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 9:50 pmWhat are the other ones? I wonder if Almiron has a release clause if we go down.
