Re: Kit Thread 19/20
I imagine there are a lot of different decision makers in the Adidas offices 10 years later - so I wouldn't presume they feel the same now. Plus, there are plenty of clubs that have had more dramatic ownership situations since.TBC wrote: ↑Sun Feb 24, 2019 10:32 amOur current deal will be up but Ashley’s very pally with Puma so I’d expect a renewal.
Any hopes of Adidas will be a waste of time as they announced they wouldn’t look for a new deal back in 09/10 because of the negative publicity around Ashley’s ownership, and he’s still here.

I don't usually agree with The Poster Formerly Known As Luque but having worked at a club whose jerseys and training gear was made by Hummell they are fantastic in regards to fitting and comfortability is comparison to Puma.

That with Newcastle brown ale logo on it would be lovely
I'll Hazard a guess
Re: Kit Thread 19/20
I've always quite liked Hummel kits, that Villa one with the chevrons under the arms going down the sides was lovely.
Re: Kit Thread 19/20
Bizarre timing. Del Piero's new kit:
Stick some stripes on the back and I'm all in.

Controversial new leaked Juve kit for next season. Something tells me it wouldn't go over well among our fans.

That is s***.
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

Re: Kit Thread 19/20
Variations of the half-and-half design have been doing the rounds going as far back as November, but it really seems to be legit. Needless to say, their fans aren't pleased. Also will be surprising they followed through on it seeing as there was so much negative feedback from the initial leak (that had gold as an accent colour in the logos and sponsor).
Re: Kit Thread 19/20
I could live with it as a training top, but certainly not as our first kit. The pink line (I presume its pink rather than red to reflect some of their away kits?) is a horrid addition too.
Side point, I don't own a Jeep and have no intention to, but it does look quite striking as a sponsor.

Speaking of breaks from tradition, this has clearly been made in Pro Evo, but is rumoured to be Barca's next kit.

Re: Kit Thread 19/20
I've always been surprised that Jeep became their sponsor. Jeep has always been a really prominent vehicle brand in North America, but I've never had the sense that it was elsewhere in the world. I know they're owned by Fiat nowadays, so there's an Italian connection, but still surprising.Colly wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 3:00 pmI could live with it as a training top, but certainly not as our first kit. They have been sponsored by Fiat and various offshoots (New Holland) for a while, so it'll be tied to that.

Re: Kit Thread 19/20
Off-topic, but in looking to finally buy our amazing away kit this season, which I'd found was sold out of most sizes in a lot of places, turns out JD has every size still, on sale for 30. I'm probably the only one who waited until May to try and get it (I refuse to pay full price), but in case I wasn't alone, now you know.
