Got back from Singapore this morning, jet lagged to f*** but what a country. Food the best I've had, people great, scenery amazing, plenty to do, easy to get around, orderly but still a bit weird. Only downside is the 14 hour flight, wish it was f***ing closer. <neg>

Aiming to go back next couple of years. Would recommend to anyone.

I'm heading back out there in December for a few weeks. Went 18 months ago and loved it.

Singapore is great. My brother used to live there so I've been four times, nice and cheap as I could stay with him. Haven't been back since he moved back to the UK though.

All booked and paid for now.

7 days in Singapore for a wedding and Christmas and then 7 days in Thailand.

Can't wait for December!

Mexico. Booked up for June, cost me £1700. Can't wait for my tire
Mexico is always a good option for a nice spent holiday. I haven't yet been there but wish to go to Mexic one day. Also, the price you have mentioned includes how many days/meals?
thank you

You should go to New Orleans. Best food in the world and very different from anywhere else.

Six working days left before I finish for the year and head off!

Can't wait for a long spell off as this year has ground me down and utterly worn me out so the impetus of a book day on a beach, supping ice cold beers and relaxing is solely keeping me going.

Sounds good. So you’ve got about 4 weeks off over Xmas?!

Booked a trip to Menton for mid March as a Xmas present for my father-in-law.

Looking at getting tickets to watch Nice play Toulouse as well.

I'm currently out in Ivrea, Italy for the Carnevale and it's f***ing mental. Took part in the battle of the oranges, was absolute chaos <laugh>

Loved the trip to Menton, Monaco and Nice.

It's been 23 years since I was last in Menton (eurorailling) and it was still awesome.

Food was amazing as it's a mix of French and Italian cuisine, wine was great and the locals are still awesome.

I did fear going back to Menton that the place would be full of rich assholes given its location but it hasn't.

I highly recommend.
