Re: Match thread - NUFC v Crystal Palace
Almiron is being forced too deep too often, its been happening the past few games, so when he finally has the ball at his feet there is no way forward hence him having to constantly look sideways for a pass, kinda feel his workrate is being utilized more than his creativity, which is pretty aggravating

If I see one more lobbed ball into the box I’m going to scream very loudly

It's like this all the timeDonkey Toon wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2019 3:48 pmWe've been so wasteful in the final third today. Just lofting the ball into the area on a wing and a prayer. Useless.

Rafa just isnt ruthless enough with these players, id start next week with Rondon, Ritchie, Yedlin on the bench, form over the last few games has been sub-par, if you are not at your best then you shouldn't play, we need to start giving others more chances to freshen up the team and give some of the first 11 something to think about.

But when you have a team as s**** as ours, giving the backups a game isn't really going to make our team any better.

Some awful set pieces today, crosses into the box straight to the keeper or in the crowd. Woeful.

Are you sure we won’t be ? I dont understand this confidence people have. We’ve lost two in a row and all it takes is Cardiff winning a couple and the pressure is on big time. Anything can happen in football so while it’s still mathematically possible to get relegated that’s how I’ll view it.

It's definitely possible, but statistically unlikely. What makes you so sure Cardiff will a couple of games?Toondes wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2019 4:26 pmAre you sure we won’t be ? Realistically, we need 3 points from the last 5 games. Even 2 would be enough really and possibly even 1.
As s*** as we've been over the last couple of games I can't see us ending the season with 7 straight losses, we'll pick up a win somewhere. We'll be fine.

Meltdown in full swing in some quarters I see
Palace are better away from home and have won plenty of away games this season with how they set up.

exactly my thoughts.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2019 5:53 pmMeltdown in full swing in some quarters I see

I actually think we were the better team today, a sloppy stupid penalty to give away and it was enough for Palace to win.
I think the bigger loss is Lejuene today, we look a much better team with him in the side, looked a bad one might be out until at least the start of next season.
I'll Hazard a guess
