Perez was excellent tonight, MoTM.

Enjoyed that game, we played well. Nervy s*** towards the end, but nothing new there.

Was worried we'd get dragged back into the mire if we lost this, massive win 100% safe now.

Massive win!Sanchino wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2019 12:36 amCan see Leicester winning 3-1 to keep the Rogers Revolution going. They've been playing more free-flowing, attacking and adventurous football recently. The experience of Vardy, Schemichael and Morgan still there plus the impressive young british prospects in Chilwell, Maddison, Barnes and Gray. Tielmans in midfield looks like a player. Great vision, creativity and technique.
Vardy to score a pen & a poacher's goal. Brace.
Maddison to score a gem of a goal. Curler.
Miggy to score his first goal for the club. Consolation.
None of that happened. I lost a tenner putting Leicester to win 3-1 but it doesn't matter because we're safe now!
Excellent defensive grinding performance. Looked dangerous on the counter and our front three all played there part especially Perez with a fantastic courageous header. Definitely MOTM for all his endeavor, work-rate, composure and running with the ball.
P.S. Rondon's free kicks are another reason I prefer him over Mitrov. How many times has he hit the crossbar now???
Howay the Lads!!!!

Re: Match thread FNF live - Leicester v NUFC
Leicester City completed 649 passes in this match, their highest total in a Premier League game since 2003-04 (when Opta began recording this data); indeed, three of their four highest successful pass tallies in this time in the division have been recorded in their six fixtures under Brendan Rodgers.
Some might say typical Rodgers.Leicester going sideways, back, sideways, back. They're not making any progress.

Perez was great, but I still find myself getting really frustrated with him, it's the way he can switch from brilliant to awful in games, he will do something great in a position where we don't get loads of advantage from it but puts us in a good position, then he will be really sloppy when doing simpler things in a position where we can really punish the opposition, he seems to have a knack for that. Tonight a couple of times Almiron could have had a good chance to tuck one away but Perez seemed to stifle the play by randomly poor balls/quality.
In the grand scheme he was the best player on the pitch though, just always feel he's capable of much more.

Just watching the highlights now on Sky. Rondon was really unlucky with his free kick. Could only have been a couple of inches off going in
