Re: Kit Thread 19/20
Anyone know what the fit is like? I haven’t bought one of our kits for 4 or 5 years but would buy the away one. Are the sizes generous or do you have to go one up from your norm?

Re: Kit Thread 19/20
I don't want to speak too confidently until I have it in hand, but as a tall/skinny guy I always have to be careful between sizes medium and large with short-sleeve shirts, and I went with large after having tried on some other Puma kits this season as reference.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 6:36 pmAnyone know what the fit is like? I've always veered between medium and large (more large recently, though I got stung on that orange away a few years back that was bloody huge) as a tall not so skinny guy, I got the away in large this year and it's a good fit.
For info the home is £20 from the club shop too, and some of the kids kits are on sale in various places.

Just came on here to say that. Just bought the home kit. Wanted the away kit, it's 33 quid, they're not that daft. Didn't have my size though.Colly wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2019 12:34 pmI've always veered between medium and large (more large recently, though I got stung on that orange away a few years back that was bloody huge) as a tall not so skinny guy, I got the away in large this year and it's a good fit.

That the badges aren't central with with the Fun88 logo is what annoys me

Not a fan of that tbh, but I won’t be buying it anyway!

I'll just have to go topless and show my chest tattoo of "Shola Ameobi holding DiCanio on the front of a small fishing vessel (Dicaprio/Kate Winslet style) as they sail down the side of a volcano which is firing lumps of molten Steve Claridge from it. Garth Crooks is still trying to argue with the smoldering remnants of Claridge on the floor"

They're centre-aligned to one another, but the sponsor logo isn't symmetrical.lassassinblanc wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 1:51 pmThat the badges aren't central with with the Fun88 logo is what annoys me
White sleeves aside, pretty similar to the 2011-2012 kit.
Re: Kit Thread 19/20
White sleeves (plus the half stripes on the back) is a pretty big aside though. That one is actually one of my favourites from the Puma years, this new one is a black shirt with two white stripes.

Re: Kit Thread 19/20
I think that one had a solid back too, it was only the past two they'd switched to the striped back with red numbers. But yes, I'd probably prefer white sleeves too, though hooped socks would go a long way (I'm a sucker for hoops).
Re: Kit Thread 19/20
Short stripes. It's subtle I know, but I don't think we've ever had a plain black back until this one.Remember Colo wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 5:18 pmI think that one had a solid back too, it was only the past two they'd switched to the striped back with red numbers. Solid back

Meanwhile, in "let's see what you could've won news", here's what Arsenal are getting having moved from Puma to Adidas. That home shirt is gorgeous.

I only started following football late in life, and for my son's started following Newcastle despite not being close to local. That was the first shirt I owned. Pretty sure I did the rookie mistake of getting Cabaye on the back as well
