Tradesmen!
Someone supposed to start today laying a new patio but apparently his van has broken down. Could be true but after the difficulty I’ve had trying to get someone booked in to do the work I don’t entirely believe it.
Must have contacted about 10 different companies and only 2 got back to me, fair enough if they’re busy but it literally takes 10 seconds to send a message saying “sorry, we’re fully booked”.

The whole criticising Theresa May for crying today but not crying over Grenfell. It's just so impossibly stupid on so many levels I can barely even comprehend it.

Personally, I don't give a s*** if she cried or not, I just can't believe the brass neck on her to mention it in her speech. The Governments response to Grenfell was utterly shameful, both in the immediate aftermath and even now when there are still people without homes and dangerous buildings.

Re: The Message of Hate Thread
No doubt but that isn't what most people are complaining about as it would be a completely valid criticism and obviously I take no issue with people criticising her on that.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2019 2:55 pmPersonally, I don't give a s*** if she cried or not, I just can't believe the brass neck on her to mention it in her speech. The main twitter storm seems to be the fact that she's shed a tear at her own resignation, like she's not allowed to because she didn't cry at Grenfell and if you don't cry at certain things you're a monster (?) It's just complete nonsense and it stinks of the rank political and social situation we find ourselves in.
You could jump all over her head like it's a ripe watermelon if you wanted, some of the s**** she's done but you're choosing this!?
It's why I vote Lib Dem, two main parties and the majority of their supporters on social media are weird little people who love nothing more than a bit of tribalism, hypocrisy and only basing what they agree with on whether they are 'left or right' and are a great example of why the British public shouldn't be allowed to vote

It's the same with Windrush, they aren't criticising the f***ing botched handling of it (whoevers fault it actually was) it's the fact she didn't cry when it was going on. Just f***ing daft man, attack the thing that's happened, the system and you've got loads of f***ing ammo, don't attack the person who's 'done it'.

Re: The Message of Hate Thread
If she had cried over Grenfell she'd have been hounded for that as well.
Irrespective of what you do there are a load of cunts out there who will lambast you for it.

The only compassion and emotion she's ever shown is over her own downfall, I have zero sympathy for her.

Can you not see how daft it is saying that it's the 'only' compassion she's ever shown? Or how irrelevant it is really.
Corbyn didn't cry over Grenfell, it doesn't make him a bad person.
It's just a wider reflection of our f***ing daft political system atm, including the electorate who love boiling everything down to left right tribalism regardless of how meaningless it is. Be all means don't show her any sympathy, I don't but she's cried because she's failed and lost her job, it's as simple as that and doesn't need reading into.

Well this sort of backs up my point, why the hell would you attack her for crying when you can get her on so much other stuff?Colback's Orange Tufts wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2019 4:06 pmShe certainly has shown zero compassion to migrants setting up the hostile immigration pocllciies that have wrongly seperated families.
It's just daft and so frustrating. Sums up the pathetic political discourse in this country, especially from Labour.
Vote Lib Dem

Sound, I will. But people have to have a policy discussion over it not the 'Oh well she didn't cry over X' bullshittery that's going on.
Btw Great results for The Lib Dems last night. Hopefully it pushes Corbyn so far off his fence he breaks his arm and puts a rocket up the Tories arse to elect a moderate candidate.
