Kinda weird that the only ones handling this with a bit of professionalism is the club itself

To be honest I'm at the point where I just wish the news hadn't broke, as exciting as the first 24 hours was it's kinda getting annoying now, I just don't get why there has to be a rollercoaster ride that goes hand in hand with a takeover, get a deal done then announce it, because nobody need to know what's happening in the middle.

That's all well and good, and I don't necessarily disagree, but it's difficult to ever accomplish that when people are constantly looking for and expecting progress, and some people want hourly updates, and other want no news until it's finalized. Inevitably there will be leaks, and misinformation (intended and otherwise). Ultimately people just will have to accept that it's a slow process, there won't always be new news, reporters will reach for new stories to publish, and most steps to the process require secrecy and due diligence that can't be reported publicly.

Maybe "leaks" was the wrong word, because oftentimes these stories reaching the public is intentional from one or both sides, but all I meant is that for any story with this much interest, there will be news coverage and emerging stories (of varying importance and accuracy) along the way, not just when it's done and dusted.
