The first of many, I fear.

I’ve got two season tickets that aren’t getting renewed while that fat bastard is there. I’ll just go to away games.

Me and my mate are not renewing ours either.

Never thought it would come to this but until Ashley goes we're not going again. Incredibly difficult decision and not one I thought I'd ever make but enough is enough. He can't go on running the club like this, or if he can I won't be around to support him. This isn't Newcastle United anymore.

Best of luck to him. I do like Perez as a player, albeit woefully inconsistent at times. Not that it justifies some of the stick he gets. Realistically, we would probably get a decent fee with a player that cost peanuts and only a couple years on his contract. If that was reinvested in another CAM/ST, it could work out as a decent bit of business. Unfortunately, therein lies the issue. Dan Barlesar will be lining up first day of the season.

Leicester fan in peace!

This has come out of nowhere!!

What’s your opinion on him?

I spoke with my Brother in Law who’s a Newcastle fan and said he’s hit and miss, although young when he’s on it, he’s great.

We’re seeing reports of £15,000,000?!? Feels low.

Bit low in today's market. Very inconsistent player though. Doesn't really get up to speed until about February. When he gets a bit of go though, the goals tend to keep coming. Prefers to play just behind the striker, but can't see him starting ahead of Maddisson for you lot.

Agree with what you've said. He's hit and miss but on his day he's brilliant. £15m is very low in my opinion. If you've got him for that in this market, you've done extremely well.

He's the epitome of a confidence player. When the team is playing well he's confident and on another level. When things aren't going well he's not really in the game.

He's a very clever player and needs players on his wavelength. Almiron and Rondon sometimes were but we never really had anyone else who was. So often he'd try clever flicks etc but there would be nobody to read them.

I wish him all the best. As least you seem to be a club with a bit of ambition to look forwards. Perez in a team with Maddison and Tielmens (if yous get him permanently) will be a good side to watch. Also he'd definitely suit a Brendan Rodgers style system so would be a good buy for yous.

Worrying report given everything else going on, but it is coming from talksport so I'll take that with a pinch of salt for now.

£15m is far too low. £25m these days.

Not overly concerned if he went. It just pisses me off to see the total lack of ambition from that fat f***ing slob we’ve got in charge.

Didn't he play there almost exclusively at Tenirefe? Was moved up front or outwide under Pardew. Has looked good behind Rondon since Almiron came in.

Ouch! Only £15m?

That’s 23 goals we’ve lost next season without Perez and Rondon.

Never mind Dwight Gayle will be like a new signing when he comes back and there's always Joselu! <whistle>

I think hell do very well there. With a more possession based style and better players around him he could create alot.
... But not sure how he fits in wit maddison, won't do well shunted wide
