Re: Chinese Tour
I read an article somewhere speculated that, as an official Premier League affiliated set of friendly fixtures; being televised live in the UK, there's an obligation for media duties to be fulfilled by someone at the club. As such, we should open betting as to whom from the club will be left holding the baby with the dirty nappy.
I expect Sky will help aplologise with excuses such as 'Rafa being in the same country (within a 1500 mile radius) was a distraction and thus caused these inevitable poor performances'.

Re: Chinese Tour
Nah, pundits are rightfully going to criticize the team for playing utterly dire football this season. It's going to be impressively unattractive.omegaprimevkm wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 2:54 pmI read an article somewhere speculated that, as an official Premier League affiliated set of friendly fixtures; being televised live in the UK, there's an obligation for media duties to be fulfilled by someone at the club. Apparently wolves only have 12 senior players in their squad, they’ll still turn us over

It is only preseason. More about managing squad fitness than anything else.

I think the grim part is that is pretty close to full strength.

Re: Chinese Tour
But at least we've made a good start. Only 2 down inside the first half an hour.
There is no sin except stupidity.
Re: Chinese Tour
It isn't really though, Ciaran Clark is our 5th choice centre half, Sterry won't be anywhere near it and Lazaar probably the same. I'd be disappointed if any of those centre mids started against Arsenal, other than Hayden who'll be gone.
It's short Dubravka, Yedlin, Schar, Lejeune (if playing 3 at the back), Dummett and/or Ritchie, Ki, Longstaff and Almiron, all whom would be in your first 11.
I mean Wolves would tonk them too, but this is definitely one for fitness rather than anything else.
