Does Sean want a number that adds up to 9? I'm all for players taking whatever random numbers they like, but because I'm so used to players not taking that approach, I'm surprised by his.

But to Colly's point in his thread, I'm surprised by the lack of Aarons. Or did I miss the announcement of him going out on loan?

only 5 went out on loan so far Dan Barlaser, Liam Gibson, Nathan Harker, Freddie Woodman and Jacob Murphy.
There's been talk of interest from Scotland for Colback no news on Aarons.

Just edited my above post about Colback being wanted by a few Scottish teams.

Dunno why shirt numbers bother me so much but why has Gayle taken 12 when 16 is free and he’s worn that at both Palace and West Brom?! 12 for any outfield player just doesn’t suit well for me. Glad Dubravka has the number 1 jersey though and Elliot returns to 21. Aaron’s exclusion is a surprise but aside from that it’s pretty much as expected. I think Colbacks exclusion will please a lot of the fan base, could mean potentially more game time for both of the Longstaffs

Bit gutted about Aarons. But who would make way for him? Hope he goes out on loan to a top Championship team.

They get paid for doing nothing. Pretty sweet setup.

Not too surprised about Aarons. Who would you drop to include him? I can't see a single name I would drop for him.

Personally would have left one of Darlow/Elliot our and brought Aarons in, but it’s a risky move so overall I’m happy with that

Is there only one player on the list that doesn't count towards the 25? Otherwise there should have been room to add someone else (if they wanted to).

Same. I don’t think it’s a risk doing that. Chances are we’re never going to need to play our third choice keeper so it’s very low risk and gives you more versatility. And if we do have a keeper crisis there would be the emergency loan system.
