FA CUP DRAW

Post by UlversToon » Mon Dec 02, 2019 6:17 pm

Our annual dose of FA Cup misery and recriminations will move a step nearer this evening, when Steve Bruce's side discover the identity of their Third Round opponents.

The Magpies will be ball number 28 in the draw, which takes place live on BBC2 from 7pm.

NUFC last 10 FAC3 ties:

2018/19 Blackburn (h) drew 1-1 (won replay)
2017/18 Luton Town (h) won 3-1
2016/17 B'ham City (a) drew 1-1 (won replay)
2015/16 Watford (a) lost 0-1
2014/15 Leicester City (a) lost 0-1
2013/14 Cardiff City (h) lost 1-2
2012/13 Brighton (a) lost 0-2
2011/12 Blackburn (h) won 2-1
2010/11 Stevenage (a) lost 1-3
2009/10 Plymouth (a) drew 0-0 (won replay)

No disrespect to our opponents but surely a £40m Brazilian striker should be able to find the net against either of them.

Heed comfortably dispatched Boston this season and were unlucky to lose vs Dale last in the cup.

I confess having seen his performances so far this season i'm not convinced Joelinton could find a net in a net shop.

Our game being shown live on BT, lunchtime kick-off (12.31) on Saturday, 4 January 2020 - just hope it's not a public humiliation!

Hope it's Rochdale. Only down the road from me. Although Rochdale is an absolute dump.

Will it go to general sale? Do we still need to pay member ship for away tickets?

When I say down the road, I mean 20 miles. Been to Rochdale once. I said never again. But if we draw them in the FA Cup...

Can't see it going to general sale or to members whether it be either Rochdale or Boston.
