Everton could be starting the Merseyside derby in the bottom 3 as it stands.

Great game so far, Silva is a dead man walking.

Watching the amazon prime every game live option tonight was great. Definitely a big improvement on sky's format. Bit like watching MOTD in real time.
Well worth the money imo. Hope they get to expand their coverage at the next auction.

i'm sure they will. Agree about the sky format if they could take a few of the BT player options onboard as well that would be even better.Donkey Toon wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 10:21 pmWatching the amazon prime every game live option tonight was great. Yeah Cole and Dublin were ok, but Savage and Sherwood got on my nerves a bit. Particularly Sherwood.Tsi wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 11:23 pmi'm sure they will. At £80 a year or £8(?) a month it would be well worth it for football fans if they got more games next year.Donkey Toon wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 10:21 pmWatching the amazon prime every game live option tonight was great. I think their fees are approximately the same, but what DAZN carries there is different, as the league television rights are sold separately for the US from Canada, and it just happens that for Canada DAZN has been successful in buying a lot of exclusive rights away from the traditional sports television networks.PTAO? wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 6:27 pmOK, and how much will that cost you in the US, where Amazon and Sky's parent company are based?Remember Colo wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 4:52 pm
For reference in Canada all Premier League matches, all Champions League Matches, all Europa League Matches, all Italian league matches, some Football League, domestic cup matches, all NFL games, all Champions Cup rugby, Pro14 rugby, MLB Network, plus darts, boxing and MMA are available live and on demand on DAZN (which is headquartered in England) for $150 CDN per year, or $20 per month.
Re: Midweek Football 03-05 DEC
Breweries are f***ing over pubs more than enough as it is. Why would anyone pay £4+ a pint when they can get 18 bottles and a 1 month subscription to Amazon prime for £18.
Re: Midweek Football 03-05 DEC
It's $100 a year for some fights.Remember Colo wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 3:43 pmI think their fees are approximately the same, but what DAZN carries there is different, as the league television rights are sold separately for the US from Canada, and it just happens that for Canada DAZN has been successful in buying a lot of exclusive rights away from the traditional sports television networks.
But the point wasn't about DAZN, but about how much Amazon will charge for their coverage. I suspect it will go down the route of BT, where it will be cheap if you have Prime, then start to cost more, eventually being a separate service, where people will have to pay for Sky, BT and Amazon each month to watch the football.

Remember the days when people were complaining about Sky getting the CL rights and having a monopoly on football when it was only £40/50 quid?PTAO? wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 4:23 pmIt's $100 a year for some fights.Remember Colo wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 3:43 pm

As its not in the UK here you could just buy a VPN and use their service that way?Remember Colo wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 4:52 pmFor reference in Canada all Premier League matches, all Champions League Matches, all Europa League Matches, all Italian league matches, some Football League, domestic cup matches, all NFL games, all Champions Cup rugby, Pro14 rugby, MLB Network, plus darts, boxing and MMA are available live and on demand on DAZN (which is headquartered in England) for $150 CDN per year, or $20 per month.

Yeah, i'm paying £7.99 a month and was already happy with what I was getting for that money even before the football was added.ALF wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 11:30 amAt £80 a year or £8(?) a month it would be well worth it for football fans if they got more games next year.Donkey Toon wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 10:21 pmWatching the amazon prime every game live option tonight was great. Like ptao says though, if they add more games it will cost them a s***-ton of money, so no doubt they will either up the price or make it an add on charge, like they do with the full music package.
Re: Midweek Football 03-05 DEC
I have NBCSN here in the us. It gives me access to every game all season for £35 a year.
Re: Midweek Football 03-05 DEC
Possibly, but how many people would subscribe if it meant having a choice of every game like they do for this week?Donkey Toon wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 4:52 pmYeah, i'm paying £7.99 a month and was already happy with what I was getting for that money even before the football was added.

Yeah I imagine the uptake would be very large, so long as people realise what they are getting for the money. I certainly wouldn't begrudge paying more if there was extended coverage.ALF wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 6:26 pmPossibly, but how many people would subscribe if it meant having a choice of every game like they do for this week?Donkey Toon wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 4:52 pm

Problem is, the rule/regulation/law whatever as it stands, is that you can't televise Saturday 3pm kickoffs domestically. Amazon are making a big deal out of the first full set of fixtures ever to be televised in the prem, because it is. The loophole being it's midweek, same with the next round of fixtures over boxing day. Clearly they targeted these weeks intentionally. Point being, even if they take over the full premier league package, they may be limited to the amount of matches they can feasibly show. Unless the existing rules do change.Donkey Toon wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 6:46 pmYeah I imagine the uptake would be very large, so long as people realise what they are getting for the money.
