Football Kit 20/21

Post by Barrsky85 » Sun Mar 01, 2020 3:17 pm

I seem to only come here to find if anyone has seen leaks etc, so do not let me down!
I may be Scottish but I bleed Black and White Stripes, no seriously, am pretty worried!

Not usually big on the whole kit thing, but I love the bottom right one of these designs

On topic, I've pre preordered one of these because it's wonderful, though I'm terrified by what the fit will be like. Gone for an XL which I've never bought a football shirt in in my life.

I find the fits are probably quite close to the fits of regular clothes. i.e. i hope you're XL normally or it might be too big/small

I don't buy football shirts anymore. 10lbs of s*** in a 5lb bag springs to mind.

I bounce between L and XL in t shirts, but none of my footie shirts are bigger than an L. I checked the Errea size guide though and it seems they're relatively small fitting, so fingers crossed.

I got lucky really, thanks to the baggy fit of 90s football shirts the ones I've got from 1997 (when I was 14) still fit nicely. The only one I got completely wrong is that orange away kit from a decade or so ago which I bought in an L and it's ridiculously massive. I'm 6'2 and it drowns me.

With how far out most kit designs are done, what're the chances new ownership will have any influence? I'd imagine they'll bring in their own kit sponsor, and maybe the club had held out making a manufacturer deal as long as possible in the hopes a sale would happen this year - but seems hard to believe it'd still be up in the air.
