Got an Amazon delivery due today and it's been 4 stops away for a solid 2 hours now at least. From what I can see on the tracker he's been to Asda, Tesco and now appears to be in Court. The delivery time has just changed from by 4.45pm back to by 9pm. Not like I've been waiting for it.

Had a delivery booked from Tesco for 9-9:30 am from Tesco. Arrived at 1pm and told that half the stuff I'd ordered wasn't in it as they'd sent it to the wrong house (same door number and street name but different postcode - 2 miles from my house) and they'd accepted it and only gave back stuff they didnt want.

Customer services wrote it all off for me so haven't been charged but will pop down to pick up some stuff for dinner tonight.

When I went for my Click and Collect at Asda last week they told me that my order had been left next to the cancelled orders so someone had unpacked it and put it back on the shelves <neg>.

What utter scumbags the people at the other address are <yikes>

Jesus! I thought mine was bad OT.

I've worked in customer service roles for going on 8 years and I cringe almost every time I have to deal with other customer service people. It feels these days most companies wash their hands of their own mistakes. I don't work in the supermarket sector but if we ever make a mistake with a customer we literally do try to go above and beyond. If we were in the supermarket sector and had a mistake like that we would, inform the customer and re-pick everything, if we couldn't re-pick everything we would call every store in the vicinity to get a hold of the products and try to arrange same day or following day delivery.

These days people are too lazy or just don't care, also most of these huge companies don't mind taking a hit to their reputation so are more willing to screw you at CS level.

Also OT, the people who accepted your shopping should be done for theft.

Put my car in for the MOT and thankfully it passed without any faults so I celebrated with a few G&Ts when I got home!

Been told front tyres are close to legal limits so will get them replaced next month when it goes in for a full service.

Hate to tell you, but wasn't there a six month waiver on MOTs?

Yeah. Wanted it sorted quickly though as didn't drive it much in the last year and recently I heard many new noises which convinced me it was f***ed.

Thankfully it's ok and I can just learn to accept the strange new noises it makes.

ah fair enough. Mine also needed a service so I got mine done as well. Lucky as I hadn't noticed how threadbare my brakes were

OT I remember you <awe>

You used to write poems and we briefly supported the worst team in Belgium together

How many guys from the first couple of years of this forum are still knocking around?

I saw a couple of usernames on Reddit the other day from members that I recognised from here and the memories all came flooding back.

The forum mafia
The thread where 75% of members has stories about shitting themselves
The Arcade tournaments
Everyone teaching Tash to hit on a fat bird
The gentlemans thread
The one idea someone had for us to buy an island and fund it by selling our seman

Good times

I've been nostalgically browsing my old comments all day

1) Did we get it?
2) Please tell me not the Isle of f***ing Wight
3) Did Skalps already own it and refuse
