Neither Ritchie nor Rose seem to fancy paying any attention to Salah...

Re: Newcastle v Liverpool
Absolute garbage, the whole team turn into a bunch of pussies whenever they come up against decent players or teams. They are s*** scared of attacking, like what the actual f***, the attitude is basically, we don't want to try to score a goal just in case it goes wrong and they get to attack, what's the actual point? I'd imagine if we weren't punished for forfeiting the game we would do it against the likes of liverpool and man city, literally zero intention of doing anything but going through the motions for 90 minutes. The attitude absolutely stinks.

Yep but Bruce has done a fantastic job remember . Did he finish with less points than Rafa , can’t even be bothered to check . More of the same next season. If he’s stillThe Deluded Pablo Diego Jose Francisco wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 4:50 pmDon Sholeone wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 4:48 pmAbsolute garbage, the whole team turn into a bunch of pussies whenever they come up against decent players or teams. I'm happy with the season overall but I cannot let it slide when we down tools in matches like today when i see players putting in zero effort.

Re: Newcastle v Liverpool
Probably nothing but BT reporting they have unable to get a post match interview with Bruce due to him currently being in a call with Ashley, people saying its a routine post season call but seems a weird time to do it considering theres still the post match commitments to go through.
Re: Newcastle v Liverpool
Downed tools as soon as we were mathematically safe. Awful end to the season.
Re: Newcastle v Liverpool
We were substandard throughout the whole of the league. How we finished where we did is beyond me, extremely lucky.Don Sholeone wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 5:20 pmI'm happy with the season overall but I cannot let it slide when we down tools in matches like today when i see players putting in zero effort.

It’s not luck, it’s that about a third of the teams in the PL are actually dross and nothing special.krully wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 7:19 pmWe were substandard throughout the whole of the league. Re: Newcastle v Liverpool
One point out of fifteen .... some end to the season. Folk should remember this when we look towards next season. The utterly lamentable end to the season is on Bruce. Dire stuff, rotten underwhelming season. More of the same with a greater threat of relegation next season unless there are significant changes.Don Sholeone wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 5:20 pmI'm happy with the season overall but I cannot let it slide when we down tools in matches like today when i see players putting in zero effort.

Villa are proof that you don’t have to be very good to stay up.

Lucky results against spurs, man utd, Everton, Chelsea. That's 10 points there.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 8:23 pmIt’s not luck, it’s that about a third of the teams in the PL are actually dross and nothing special.

I’m glad luck managed to put the ball in the opposition’s goal so many times. Should sign him up long-term.
