Match Thread - League Cup, Blackburn (H)

Between the £10 to watch online and no online radio coverage, I'm definitely feeling like a nice refreshing can of shitty energy drink

Another debut goal. We should just keep signing players

That through ball from Almiron was lovely. I really like the midfield player he is becoming.

Ritchie to Bournemouth? I don't think so. Bournemouth to Ritchie!

Looks like playing two bairns in the middle might not be a great idea

Joelinton finally finds the net, but he was offside Another great would-be-assist from Almiron though.

They've been the better team while we've offered nothing, manquillo our best player

If he's getting frustrated with his midfield after 60 odd minutes, maybe he should make a substitution before the final ten minutes or so?Colback's Orange Tufts wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 7:46 pmLooks like playing two bairns in the middle might not be a great idea

We really should have fleeced Man Utd the other window with Longstaff.

Ok, it was our 2nd team. But fair play to Blackburn. We deserved to lose that, we were s****.

10 changes from the weekend and a 1-0 win and through to the next round. More than happy with that. Was never going to be a cohesive performance with that many changes and players that haven’t really played for ages.
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

He was immense against Bournemouth in a more advanced position at the end of last season. He's a forward thinking midfielder rather than a deep lying player, it's why he worked well with Hayden/Diame.Don Sholeone wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 8:09 pmWe really should have fleeced Man Utd the other window with Longstaff.

Hes so sloppy though, 9/10 he can't even make a simple pass. He's living off a good couple of months under Rafa, since then he's been nothing but a liability barring the odd ok performance when the whole team has done well.ALF wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 8:27 pmHe was immense against Bournemouth in a more advanced position at the end of last season. What a waste of £10 that was ffs. We were dreadful. They should have won. Joelinton woeful, CM was overrun and the blokes off the bench were useless. To top it off ASM seemed to tweak his knee near the end and had to hobble through to full time. Agree that we should have taken whatever we could for Longstaff and I very much don't expect Barlaser to still be here October 5th
