Newport beating Watford 2-0 at HT. That means that we need to beat Morecambe and most likely Newport to secure a place in the quarter finals!

It would be just my luck for Newcastle to play Newport and there not be fans allowed in, considering I live about 20 mins from their ground.
Still, they could always save me that particular disappointment and dissapoint me tomorrow instead.

You can go to the grounds and set off a few fireworks as Newcastle marches towards domestic silverware

Technically we played the required amount of games to consider ourselves finalists <whistle>

3rd round - Game 1
3rd round replay - Game 2
4th round - Game 3
4th round replay - Game 4
5th round - Game 5
Quarter Final - Game 6

The winners (Arsenal) played 6 games too so we were pretty much finalists :bandit:
SpoilerShow
Lets forget that some sides have to play about 5-6 games just to get to Round 1

Wouldn’t mind a few PL clubs going out but Chelsea, Everton, Brighton and Burnley all winning. And Fulham too.

Saw he was on the bench v wolves. Bet he doesn’t take throws like His old man. Liverpool currently four nil up against Lincoln heading into half-time, they better not be trying to beat our seven goals from last night…

Tottenham have been given a bye into the Carabao Cup fourth round after their tie with Leyton Orient was called off when a number of Orient's players tested positive for Covid-19.

The English Football League decided the League Two club must forfeit the tie having been unable to play the fixture, in line with competition rules.

That’s fair enough. I don’t know the details but apparently spurs offered to pay for testing?

The crazy thing is, clubs in the lower leagues have different (less frequent) testing requirements to PL clubs...how stupid having 2 sets of rules for one competition where sides are very likely to draw each other. There’s enough money in the game to cover testing for lower league clubs.
