Morecambe v Newcastle United - Cacapo cup
Re: Morecambe v Newcastle United - Cacapo cup
Ok.. I see why we spent 40 mil on Joelinton.
Ignoring the opposition and the quality of League Two, we're doing good. Hopefully gives the likes of Miggy, Joe & Murphy confidence.. Miggy definitely needs to start, he looks threatening every time he's on the pitch. Maybe start Joe in for Carroll on the weekend.. he scored last season's winner against Tottenham.. why not try and repeat the same fate?

I know there’s the “it’s only Morecambe” argument, but I still want to see Murphy getting a chance in the league.

I think we need to pack the midfield vs Spurs. Two up top could end badly...Sanchino wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 7:19 pmOk.. I see why we spent 40 mil on Joelinton.

When we got our 4th Sky said that was the first time in 13 years we'd scored 4 in the first half (vs Alkmaar).Colback's Orange Tufts wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 7:31 pmWhen was the last time we scored 5 in a competitive match...?

I think Bruce will ask them to ease off, just like he did against Oxford and WBA last season

Oh I agree, and I’ve said many times before he needs to be given a chance as there is ability there. All those games Atsu got I’d have given Murphy over him.Blue & Maroon wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 7:31 pmI hate the its "only". Weve f***ed up so many games like this. Some weird live mic chatter at half-time on whatever stream I'm watching. Now a guy bitching about having paid a tenner last week and the stream doesn't work on Microsoft Edge.

Spurs at home under Rafa, but we were already relegated so does that count as competitive? <wink>Colback's Orange Tufts wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 7:31 pmWhen was the last time we scored 5 in a competitive match...?
