Joelinton looks like a better option on the wing than Fraser at the moment. Murphy looks confident as well. Hopefully Shelvey has been left in Newport but I've got a terrible feeling that his goal has just cemented his place for another 2 months. Longstaff had moments(the pass to Fraser) and is good at carrying the ball forward but he's still looking sloppy. Definitely a player in there though. I think it's harsh to judge anybody when they're playing CM on their own though because their midfield 'partner' is either standing between the CB's or hiding behind the opposition players.

This is a massive statement, but I think Jonjo Shelvey has affected my enjoyment of this club far more than Mike Ashley over the last 3 years. I genuinely hate the man.

Whoever we draw it's more than likely the end of the road based on our recent performances. <neg>

This!

And this time we'll concede more, that'll teach them to mess with us! <kray>

Brentford at home, bit of optimism at the chances of a semi-final, then a comfortable home loss <urgh>

Beat Liverpool in the quarter finals.
Beat Man City in the semi finals.
Lose to Villa in the final.

I've been having an argument with someone on twitter who believes he was our best player last night and put in a very good performance as a 'DCM'.

I was listening to a podcast earlier, and apparently last season he averaged 0.3 tackles per match <laugh>

Yeah, all we could hope for us either stoke or Brentford. Won’t be easy if they play their first team.

Being away makes no difference at the moment, unless fans are back by December which I doubt.
