The Lidl and Aldi beer is really decent and dirt cheap. Much better than cheap British piss.overseasTOON wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 4:53 pmMrsOT went to Aldi today and picked me up a 4 pack of Rheinbacher lager and it's not too bad at all considering its £3 for 4 cans.
Surprised.

I quite like Perlenbacher from Lidl. The alcohol free version is decent too as it tastes a lot like alcohol free Heineken which is the best 0% option in my opinion.

I usually stock up on Rheinbacher when family visit, they don't like anything adventurous and I don't want to buy carling...

Re: What is your favourite beer brand?
Yeah it is, and it's probably much less than that. However if it was 0.5%, you could still be over the limit after ~15 bottles of it .

12 bottles would be the equivalent of one pint of 4% beer. I think you'll be ok after 15biggeordiedave wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2020 11:57 amYeah it is, and it's probably much less than that. However if it was 0.5%, you could still be over the limit after ~15 bottles of it .

I have a mate that can get through one pint without pissing, but every subsequent pint requires at least two pisses .

I'm ok for the first 3 pints but once I break that seal, my evening is constantly interspersed with trips to the toilet.
Edit: To the point my mates claim I inherited my mothers bladder!

Agree, once the seal has been broken there’s no way back.

Hold on as long as you can but once the seal goes you're away every half a pint.

Re: What is your favourite beer brand?
It doesn't affect me as badly as it seems to do for most people. If I'm in the pub for 6 pints, I'll probably use the kermit twice.
