I thought we might even nick it. Oh well, weve been so open, surprised they didnt score sooner.Donkey Toon wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 8:46 pmAh bollocks! Just when I was starting to hope we'd steal a point.

If you're going to give the attacker the inside because you have support there, you can't then go with him and leave Fernandez - their best attacker free on the overlap. Great finish though.

Not a Bruce hater but against so many sides he just wants to sit off for 90 and hope.

Yeah, he really seems to give too many sides too much respect. This isn't the Manchester United of Fergy's time - but he certainly approached the match like it was. If it's not Burnley or Wes Ham he parks the bus.Colback's Orange Tufts wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 8:49 pmNot a Bruce hater but against so many sides he just wants to sit off for 90 and hope.

Re: Match day thread: Newcastle v Man U
Well, if at the start of the season I’d predicted:
West Ham away - draw
Brighton home - win
Spurs away - lose
Burnley home - win
Man U home - lose
I’d have taken that and it would be 7 points from 5 games and that’s what we’ve got.

Bruce can f*** off. Like someone said above, if it's not Burnley et al we back the bus. Sick of it.

Tonight is the night Bruce has turned me against him, it says everything that he brings on Schar for Hayden, proves he had zero intention of attacking them. Risks Darlow so he can make an 85th minute sub? That is criminal management. f***ing disgraceful.

Maker's Mark, was on special at Waitrose £20 a bottle. Thought it was rude not to.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 8:55 pmWhat you drinking? I opened a new bottle of sazerac rye recently and had forgotten how good it was.
Never tried Sazerac ... don't much of a selection where I live. How does it rate?

Nice - my local Waitrose is closing on 31st December so may need to pay a visit to stock up.Donkey Toon wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 8:57 pmMaker's Mark, was on special at Waitrose £20 a bottle. Thought it was rude not to.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 8:55 pm

Sazerac Rye is excellent, it’s £40/£45 a bottle (got mine online) but well worth it. Haven’t had one for a few years.
