So Federico comes in for Hayden and Murphy starts on the wing or RB?

Their pressing worries me, feel like we'll just try and sit back rather than take advantage of their defensive issues.

I regret making Wilson my captain

Very excited to have Fraser available again. A bit of extra skill and confidence we've missed.

I went KDB...at least he got 2 bonus points for an overall solid score of 8

Early 2000s were easily my favourite time supporting us. Attacking football, exciting players, regularly in and around the European spots and a couple of seasons in the CL. Bit different to now. You do wonder what might have happened had we not lost that CL qualifier penalty shootout to Partizan Belgrade.

We definitely will. I think Leeds will have at least 60% possession and it will be a very tough match for us. Can't see us getting a result here.

Can't see anything but a loss tonight. Think we'll get smashed actually. They'll have far too much energy for us.

The last time we played Leeds I watched it in a sports pub in Leeds city centre. I was with a few Newcastle supporting mates and we were not popular when Lascelles scored. Chris Wood equalised in the 95th minute so everyone was happy .

A lazy look at Leeds' results would seem to suggest they're better either away from home or against teams that like to come forward and attack. Maybe parking the bus is the best plan of action?

My wife said exactly that, we're tailor made to nullify and beat them like Wolves did. I just think they'll have too much for us. 3 or 4 v 1 to them.Captain Obvious wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 1:08 pmA lazy look at Leeds' results would seem to suggest they're better either away from home or against teams that like to come forward and attack. Re: Leeds v Newcastle (live on Prime)
Its a tricky one to call and one of those games where I don’t have an expected result in my mind. Going into WBA at home I was expediting a win for us, against Fulham who have improved I’m still expecting at least a draw. But against Leeds I won’t be surprised if we win, lose or draw.

Can't decide if that's a back 5, or Hayden in a 3 man midfield, but I quite like the look of it. Hendrick is the odd man out I guess but would be good to see what he can do in the middle. I fancy Fraser for a goal or an assist.

That line up Hendrick and no Miggy or Gayle

Re: Leeds v Newcastle (live on Prime)
Looks like three in midfield I guess. Not seen a lot from Hendrick to impress me since that opening game. Good to see Fraser starting, Bruce doesn't seem to fancy Almiron though. Would've liked to see Almiron Joelinton and Fraiser behind Wilson with two in the centre of midfield; Hendrick dropped for Miggy.

I hope Hendrick is being played in the middle for once.

Re: Leeds v Newcastle (live on Prime)
I'm guessing it's 451 with Hayden in the centre, Joelinton on the right, Fraser on the left with Hendrink right middle, Lonstaff left middle. It better not be 442 with Hendrick out wide on the right.

Can't say I'm a fan of that team.

Seen the formation on 3 different sites now and it's 442 with Hendrick on the right
