Some say Curbishley is waiting by his phone in anticipation.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 10:12 am
Billy Davies has been without a club since he left Forest a few years back, no doubt he features on Charnley's shortlist of possible Bruce replacements.

Silva, Sanchez Flores, Howe, Vieira, Pearson & Wagner would all be the most realistic ones.. but knowing us we'll end up with Hughes.Tsi wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 10:06 pmA few names of available managers/coaches from https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/trainer ... /statistik

Odd choice but definitely an improvement.

I feel like Hughes' come and get me thing in the media isn't unrelated. He's become the favourite in my eyes. Not my choice, mind. I'd take Pearson if he'd agree to an interim role, but I think he'd end up twatting Ashley. Which would be a bonus, but the latter party may not agree haha. Howe has to be the ideal choice, for me personally.

Cooper would be a good choice imo.
Likes to possession football and be brave in attack, have been on coaching courses with him too a really top bloke who knows his football.
I'll Hazard a guess

At least we'd have a choice of keeping Woodman if he was manager will be a sad day when Darlow gets a contract extension and we lose Woodman because of it.lassassinblanc wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 12:12 amCooper would be a good choice imo.

Like Frank at Brentford, would be a good option but unlikely they’d swap mid-season from a Championship title/promotion chase to a PL relegation battle.

Re: Could it happen? Next manager suggestions
I think Frank and Cooper would be good options, but as has been suggested wouldn't come now. We'd have to wait till the end of the season and if one or neither get promoted, then they could be interesting. We need shot or Bruce now though or we'll join them in the championship. Whether that means an interim until then to shake things up, or bringing someone in now I'm not sure.
It's going to be Mark Hughes though

In theory, if they failed to come up and we stayed up then Bruce keeps his job.CIH wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 9:16 amI think Frank and Cooper would be good options, but as has been suggested wouldn't come now. Next three games are Villa (a), Leeds (h), Everton (a). Can't see many points coming in the away games. Leeds are in poor form but all that means is that we're the perfect team for an out of form team to play and they turn us over.

My point being I don't think he should keep his job, but there's not a lot available right now. Eddie Howe the obvious exception.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 9:21 amIn theory, if they failed to come up and we stayed up then Bruce keeps his job.CIH wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 9:16 amI think Frank and Cooper would be good options, but as has been suggested wouldn't come now. Out of that list it will be Hughes or Pearson. Pearson I would almost accept as I think it would be a step up. Hughes wouldn't be though. We'd just go from overly defensive to outright dirty.

With Charnleys' past record he'd probably go for Frank Cooper of marmalade fame!CIH wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 9:16 amI think Frank and Cooper would be good options, but as has been suggested wouldn't come now. The irony is that we could bring in almost any of those names, but the club chooses to sell itself short time and time again.Tsi wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 10:06 pmA few names of available managers/coaches from https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/trainer ... /statistik
