Almirons final ball is s****. Might as well just sign a marathon runner of all we want is someone to run around.

That was very casual. Would've looked a right dick if it hadn't gone in mind.

12th as it stands. I should be happy but pundits gonna be wanking off Bruce for at least another season now.
Re: Match day thread - Fulham v NUFC
How the f*** have we spent 90% of the season stressed about relegation only to end up 12th .
Bruce is going to be even more insufferable now.

Who was it that said we'd get 45 points and we all laughed?

This.. would've preferred Carroll coming on to give him a rightful send-off he deserves. Anyone over Hendrick.. you could have gone for Lewis / Matty so they could get some minutes but he turns to the ''solid pro'' Hendrick. Anyway a win is a win.. we played well in the first half but second half we struggled as Fulham increased the pressure & tempo but it always had a friendly feeling too it.. just glad we got the second to kill it off & very cool n' composed pen by Schar.seaside nipper wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 4:43 pmWtf is wrong with Hendrick ?

Hopefully this won't be Willock's last game with us but if it is.. what a brilliant signing he's been, transformed the whole team & gave some much needed energy & uplift to the team! Scored the goals to secure our safety & has been the missing jigsaw in the midfield engine room we needed. Goals, aerial threat, late runs into the box, off the ball movement, energetic, quick & dynamic. Wish him all the best if he stays at Arsenal & good luck to him! Has great potential & if he carries on with this form with Arsenal there going to have a top-quality player on there hands.. could see him being capped in the future!
45 points. 12th place. Who would have thought that.. couple months ago? Very good end to the season.. need to recruit wisely in the summer & keep playing like this. Could be the difference between doing a ''West Ham'' or doing a ''West Brom''.. see what I did there!
We have all the makings of a top-half side.. just need to be more consistent, keep our best players, recruit 2/3 quality players & we're set!

That 10 game spell or whatever it was without a win over Christmas time. Can't help but wonder what might of been. Defeats at home against Leeds and Palace and away at Sheffield particularly poor results.

Re: Match day thread - Fulham v NUFC
^^This ^^
It’s the absolutely classic Newcastle narrative.
Could have, should have, and in the end just about did
The most dysfunctional frustrating club in football.
I’m actually in some sense hoping we don’t change.
In retrospect just accept the frustrating suppressed passion and live the dream for the time when once more we are recognised as a team that puts the front foot forward and attacks as a philosophy again.
The unqualified love and affection for this club will always endure, hopefully the team style will soon reflect this
An iconic strip, iconic ground, iconic players and fans.
One day .......
