Or Malang Sarr? I think business is probably done now though. I wonder if Munoz will be a bit like Perez where he'll come into the first team much sooner than expected. If it's a loan with a high fee I can't imagine being brought in just for the development squad. Football is life.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Tue Aug 31, 2021 5:44 pmIn non-rape news, Saul Niguez looks to be signing for Chelsea so may open up an exit for Ampadu (not that I think he'd really improve us even if we were interested).

I thought it was a loan with a requirement to buy? - so basically just a way to punt the cost for another year.Cabella's Invincible Hair wrote: ↑Tue Aug 31, 2021 6:06 pmOr Malang Sarr? Did you really type that?Oval85 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 31, 2021 4:26 pmThese stories are sometimes true, but do you really believe a player like Ronaldo, as good looking as he is, really needs to rape anyone?Remember Colo wrote: ↑Tue Aug 31, 2021 3:12 pm
He's alleged to have raped a woman in Vegas shortly after his Real Madrid transfer. He's confirmed to have given her a payoff to stop participating with police, but police there reopened the case 9 years later and wanted to pursue a conviction, but the district attorney chose not to. Der Spiegel did a lot of reporting on it - keeping her identity quiet for a long time until she eventually came forward. They released some confidential documents between he and his legal teams where he confirmed she repeatedly refused consent (his legal questionaire gets into the specific details...).
To me it sounds like a digger who thought this is a chance to make some more money the next day, and of course it's smart if you're soul-less, and there are quite a few of them. Probably also the reason why nobody talks about it, sounds like bs all the way to the bank!
No idea whether he's guilty or not, I'm sure we'll find out one day.

Imagine passing on a 189m fee and avoiding wages - all to lose him for free in a year. PSG's finances are crazy if they can internally justify Mbappe being worth 220m+ for 1 last year of service.

Gotta feel the pain for them
maybe we could swap ownersDo not understand my club Liverpool....one signing, money in to cover it from sales yet nothing else....are we seriously the only club affected by the pandemic?? By standing still, we've gone backwards. FSG need to go, they care less than Mike Ashley....

Must be tough struggling to identify any position to improve without having to spend 75m on a more worldclass player.

According to Skysports the loan deal for Choudhoury have broken down...

Though a new face would be a boost, I really don’t see what he’d add that we haven’t already got. Plenty of bang average uncreative midfielders in the squad already.

Nor is he the skilled ballhawk we need either for better defending and controlling play. It's a shame the club had no sustained interest in some of the continental midfielders we were rumoured to be in for a while. They at least hinted at upside and recognizing squad needs.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Tue Aug 31, 2021 9:02 pmThough a new face would be a boost, I really don’t see what he’d add that we haven’t already got. Great news I've heard Newcastle United are signing Neymar! That's Neymar defenders, Neymar midfielders and Neymar strikers
And in conclusion, how far had you got through reading this before you realised it was my signature?

The highlight of this window is me tweeting the story about Santiago Munoz to Alessandro Nivola (Gavin Harris/him off Face/Off) and him liking it. You can close the window now Jim.

Santos Laguna is where we've signed that Munoz from. Apparently the owner of that club Alejandro Irarragorri has been in talks to buy Newcastle a few times. Just reading it on the Athletic, mentioned in passing during a write up about the Munoz deal. I smell a conspiracy theory
