Maybe he is the missing piece
Edit: Hmm, Solskjær seems to have a Phil Neville replica on the bench... anyone seen this???

It's really impressive Andy Serkis has the time to be in so many films and also manage Man U. Might explain their apparent lack of preparation.

Looking like he will take over from Woodward at end of the season, basically done what I wanted us to do before we got Howe.

Looks like a very shrewd move from Man U, not like them at all

Apparently he's a bit of a control freak and can be difficult to work with so hopefully it's a disaster for them.

I think he’s fine, he’s not an elite manager imo -
Think he’s only won one or two cups in Germany some years ago? Definitely not on the level of someone like Conte who they could have nabbed if they’d moved sooner to sack Solskjaer.

Yeah, also seems his reputation comes from him building teams up, so think it could go either way for him. I do find it odd that for all the talk of how great he is, it seems like not many top to mid level clubs have been lining up to appoint him.

Also seems like an odd pick for an interim manager seeing as his best skills seem to be related to longer-term club development.Don Sholeone wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 6:47 pmYeah, also seems his reputation comes from him building teams up, so think it could go either way for him. He will have a job to do with all the egos in that squad. German generals are not known to f*** around
Oh well, doesn't work for Conte so far so there is hope...

John Carver rumoured to be keen on the Hibernian job.
Been a decent asset for Steve Clarke tbh, a popular guy within the national team squad, could be an interesting gamble.

Some people are better suited to being a coach...

He was the best coach in the Premier League so I think he deserves a shot at being the best manager in Scotland. Put some respect on the man's name!

Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread
He was the worst manager in Toronto FC's history as far as I'm concerned, and that's saying something given the dog's breakfast of bad hires over the years here. And I consider him the worst in the time I've been supporting Newcastle too.
