While Newcastle's focus is on the Carabao Cup this weekend, there's a partial Premier League fixture programme as follows:

Fri 24.02.2023:

Fulham 1-1 Wolves 8pm Sky

Sat 25.02.2023:

Everton 0-2 Aston Villa 3pm
Leeds United 1-0 Southampton 3pm
Leicester City 0-1 Arsenal 3pm
West Ham 4-0 Nottingham Forest 3pm
Bournemouth 1-4 Manchester City 5.30pm Sky
Crystal Palace 0-0 Liverpool 7.45pm Sky

Sun 26.02.2023:

Spurs 2-0 Chelsea 1.30pm Sky

Rashford is a doubt for Sunday! He went down injured v Barcelona but played on until the 88th minute.

At very least it sounds like he could play but not be 100% which I'd take. Get Joelinton to get a firm tackle in early doors.

Ultimately I’d take our team over both of those any day. And after this weekend we have nothing but the remaining league games to focus on.

Pretty much through bad luck on both occasions rather than them doing anything to deserve the wins! That’s the way it goes sometimes I guess!

Palace are a good example of not having to be very good to be a PL side. Definitely got some good players (would 100% take Olise and Guehe) but Vieira has a win rate of less than 30% yet they’ve never really been in danger of relegation despite that.
