How about using the empty filing cabinet to store office supplies or stationery? You could also donate it to a local charity or school if you don't need it anymore. Another idea is to sell it or give it away to someone who could use it.

Girl I sit next to did an undergrad and masters and her student debt is £72k @ 8% interest, she’ll literally never pay it off unless she earns very very good money. Ridiculous cost nowadays!

I graduated in 2006 (only borrowed £12k as no fees due to means testing) and I’m only just due to pay it off in about 6 months time, let alone if I’d borrowed what’s needed now.

But anyone, you can’t put a price on education…so they say <laugh>
